After that we will have your free consultation either on the phone or virtually.

We can discuss what kind of support you are hoping for. I can let you know know what to expect from me as your doula. We can discuss your care plan and the terms of a contract.

Upon our decision to work together I will send you a contract and a New Client Questionnaire.

Once you returned the signed contract and questionnaire with a deposit that will secure your spot on my calander and then we can schedule our prenatal meeting.

Once baby is born, you will notify me and we can set our first support visit.

  • The session will look different to everyone, based on your needs. Maybe you need a break, a shower, and a nap, assistance with baby or sibling care, advice or references, breast or bottle feeding assistance, or compassionate companionship and reassurance. Together we will address your urgent needs and create a plan for ongoing support.

Important to note: I am not a licenced nutritionalist, nor a professional chef, but I do have knowledge of postpartum nutritional requirements and I do enjoy cooking and preparing comforting and delicious foods that help people to thrive.

  • Your body has special nutritional needs during the postpartum period, in order to aid recovery from birth, balance postpartum hormones, and support a healthy milk supply.

    A personalized meal and snack plan will be created and prepared for you and your family. All meals are family friendly, tasty, comforting, and packed with nutrition.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE POSTPARTUM NUTRITIONAL PLAN

After that we will have your free phone consultation. We will discuss any food restrictions, and what kind of meal & snack options and nutrition plan you are hoping for. I will also confirm your kitchen equipment that I can expect to be available to use. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

I will send over a contract with payment information.

After those are received I will send a menu of meal and snack options and suggestions for you to choose from. After we have made a plan I will send you a grocery and equipment list so that you can order or purchase foods before my arrival and we can verify all the necessary equipment is available for preparation.

Be sure to make space in your freezer.

On the day and time of our appointment I will arrive ready to cook!
